HOUSE OF TRIWEA
TriWea is a social enterprise dedicated to developing handwoven, hand-made eco products from natural fibres such as pure Eri and its blends with other natural fibre to meet the needs of the local and global markets. To provide bespoke fabrics it nurtures a collaborative approach involving designers, skilled weavers, mostly women, spinners, and other artisans belonging to the Khasi, Garo, Hajong, Koch, Rabha and several other tribes located in the sub-Himalayan region of Meghalaya and other stakeholders within the slow fashion industry.
Our clients choose TriWea because it upholds sustainability, cultural heritage, indigenous weaving communities, conservation of biodiversity and economic freedom to artisans as its core values.
